Naval Radars is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Director of Program Management for Naval Radars Growth Programs. This position will report directly to the Naval Radars Executive Director and be a member of the Naval Radars Leadership Team staff. The Director will lead the delivery and capacity Acceleration Team, and is responsible for franchise growth strategy, new program and product introduction, and program leadership for new radar and international growth programs. This position requires a high level of leadership and management to achieve technical, cost and schedule requirements necessary to meet the Naval Radars Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP), while also meeting the expectations and contractual requirements of the US Navy and International customers. Naval Radars is a portfolio area within the Naval Power, Naval Systems & Sustainment sub-strategic business unit, providing exceptional solutions in sensors and effector integration for the United States and its allies. The portfolio includes domestic and international full life cycle of the SPY-6 Family of Radars as well as the production and sustainment of the Future X-Band Radar franchise.

- Work closely with the Executive Director, Program Area Directors, and functional leaders to achieve delivery acceleration commitments, integrate franchise growth strategies, and provide program leadership for new radar and international growth programs.
- Work across Raytheon Strategic Business Units to develop new applications for Naval Radars solutions in other theaters, domains, and Customers
- Work closely with the Requirements & Capabilities team to develop, plan, and transition new programs from capture to execution
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) scope for the Future X-Band Radar franchise, to ensure successful transition from the Advanced Technologies Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase to Naval Power Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP)
- Represent Naval Radars as the Customer-facing Program Manager for adjacent and international solutions
- Interface directly with the Navy International Program Office (NIPO) to collaborate on the direction of international programs
- Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen
- SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years’ experience
- Prior Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Estimate at Completions (EACs), etc.
- Prior experience leading proposal activity and franchise captures
- Prior experience leading cross-functional teams
- Prior experience with development, production, and sustainment programs
- Prior experience with Foreign Military Sales
- Program Management Level 3 Certified or ability to achieve certification within 1 year
- Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to facilitate teamwork across functions
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales, International Traffic and Arms (ITAR) regulations, Export Import (EXIM), and licensing requirements
- Understanding of the DoD acquisition environment and processes
- Experience with IDIQ contracts
- General understanding of advanced radar programs and Integrated Air & Missile Defense missions
