Fund Accountant – Specialty Credit Financing

About the Role

We‘re hiring a Fund Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and reporting for a specialty credit financing fund. This role is central to keeping investor-facing numbers accurate and on time you‘ll be the person who makes sure the math behind carried interest, performance fees, and investor NAVs is right.

What You‘ll Do

• Maintain fund-level and investor-level accounting records in Xero
• Calculate and reconcile Net Asset Value (NAV) per investor on a recurring basis
• Compute carried interest and performance fee calculations in line with fund agreements
• Prepare investor capital account statements and periodic reporting
• Reconcile cash, investments, and accrued income/expenses across the fund
• Support quarterly/annual financial statement preparation and audit processes
• Track capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• Flag discrepancies and work with the team to resolve them promptly

What We‘re Looking For

• Mandatory: Experience working with UK and/or European market funds/clients
• Proven experience in fund accounting this is the core requirement
• Hands-on experience calculating carried interest, performance fees, and per-investor NAVs
• Strong working knowledge of Xero (required)
• High attention to detail and comfort working with complex allocation structures
• Ability to work independently and manage recurring reporting cycles

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with specialty credit or private credit investment structures
• Background in private equity, private debt, or alternative investment fund administration
