The Effectors Operations portfolio within the OSCQ (Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality) function at Raytheon is looking for a Finance Leader to lead all aspects of financial management of Operations. This role focuses on financial leadership for a critical manufacturing portfolio with sites in Tucson, AZ; Dine, NM; Huntsville, AL; and Camden, AR. The responsibilities include providing financial guidance, manpower forecasting, CER Pool and overhead development, and ensuring financial commitments are met while supporting record growth and volume increases. The Finance Leader for the Effectors Operations portfolio within the OSCQ Function will have a multifaceted role that emphasizes financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and leadership. Breakdown of the key responsibilities:
- Ensure Accuracy and Integrity of Operations Analysis: The manager will focus on maintaining high standards of data accuracy and apply industry best practices to enhance the quality of operations analysis.
- Drive Accountability: Encourage functional ownership of results by motivating teams and stakeholders to take responsibility for the outcomes of their efforts.
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain trust and strong rapport with key stakeholders across different teams and locations to ensure collaboration and alignment.
- Analyze Drivers and Trends: Monitor key organizational drivers, identify trends or deviations, and consolidate data into meaningful insights. This includes identifying critical metrics and executing solutions to address challenges.
- Executive-Level Reporting: Synthesize findings into high-quality executive-level reports and presentations for regular leadership reviews and evaluations.
- Lead and Develop Team Members: Take responsibility for managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of finance professionals to ensure their professional growth and successful contribution to organizational goals.
- Cost Commitments and Analysis: Prepare and analyze data to support cost commitments, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals.
- This position appears to require a combination of technical financial expertise, strategic analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Partnering with multiple Functional leadership teams to ensure that sound business decisions are made in program implementation and execution
- Effectively manage all financials for a complex MFG portfolio
- Development & oversight of financial forecasts Manpower, CER pools indirect expenses
- Provide financial briefings and communications to customers, the Finance Leadership Team, SCM/Ops, Engineering, as well as the PMO
- Partner on new and innovative cost strategies
- Develop and Lead a team of multiple managers and direct reports professionals
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
- Professional experience in a related finance role
- Experience presenting/conveying business acumen to stakeholders without financial background or expertise
