Hiring: Head - Retail Fulfilment | Hyderabad

We are partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare technology company that is transforming how healthcare products are accessed and fulfilled across India. As they enter an exciting phase of expansion, they are looking for a Head - Retail Fulfilment to build and scale their retail partner ecosystem, starting with Hyderabad and eventually expanding nationally.

About the Role

This is a unique 0-to-1 builder opportunity for someone who thrives in execution-focused, entrepreneurial environments.

As the Head of Retail Fulfilment, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling a distributed retail/pharmacy fulfilment network that delivers exceptional customer experience, product availability, and operational excellence.

Initially, this will be an individual contributor role with the opportunity to build and lead the function as the network scales.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Build and expand a retail/pharmacy partner network from scratch

✅ Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard independent retail partners

✅ Drive partner activation, fulfilment readiness, and operational excellence

✅ Manage inventory availability, replenishment processes, and stock discipline

✅ Own partner commercials, margins, settlements, and performance metrics

✅ Establish SOPs, operating processes, and scalable fulfilment frameworks

✅ Monitor and improve service levels, productivity, and partner economics

✅ Scale the operating model from pilot stage to a high-performing multi-city network

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for professionals who have:

• Built or expanded a retail, franchise, partner, or fulfilment network from an early stage
• Hands-on experience managing independent retail/franchise partners
• Strong field execution background and ability to solve operational challenges on the ground
• Experience in inventory management, fulfilment operations, and replenishment planning
• Ownership of commercials, negotiations, collections, and partner profitability
• Demonstrated success in scaling operational models and driving measurable KPIs

Preferred Industry Background

Experience from any of the following sectors would be highly relevant:

• Pharmacy Retail
• Healthcare Distribution
• E-Pharmacy / Omnichannel Retail
• FMCG General Trade
• Organized Retail
• Franchise-led Business Models
• Partner-led Fulfilment Networks

Experience Required

8+ years of relevant experience with a strong track record of building and operating distributed retail networks.
