Position Name: PharmacistLocation: Harrisonburg, VA 22801Employment Type: Direct-Hire & PermanentSetting: Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment CenterPay: $65/hrShift: Part-Time | 22 Hours per Week | Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Flexibility with Days Available)
Qualifications:Required:- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Virginia, in good standing.- Ability to work onsite and prepare, dispense, and oversee medications, including pre-pouring take-home doses for patients.- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of medication safety, storage, and documentation requirements.
Preferred:- Previous experience in an outpatient pharmacy, addiction treatment center, or behavioral health setting.- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medications used to treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).- Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, medication inventories, and pharmacy procedures.
Job Summary:- Oversee the safe preparation, handling, storage, and dispensing of medications within an outpatient addiction treatment facility.- Prepare and organize take-home medication doses while ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with established protocols.- Maintain accurate medication records, monitor inventory, and ensure appropriate security measures are followed.- Collaborate with clinical leadership to review pharmacy operations, provide medication-related guidance, and support regulatory compliance.- Conduct routine pharmacy reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain required documentation and reports.- Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment for individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders. xzbcwsv
