Job Title: Jr. Video Editor

Job Summary:

As a Video Editor at AIM Media House, you will play a crucial role in shaping our visual content.

You will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished, compelling videos

that align with our brand's style and objectives. Your expertise in editing software and attention

to detail will ensure that our videos are engaging and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit Video Footage: Transform raw video footage into well-structured and engaging final

products by cutting, arranging, and enhancing video clips.

Package the B-rolls: for the daily News Show Front Page on AIM Network YT Channel

Edit Reels: Put in significant effort in editing reels for Instagram, Youtube and other short video

platforms and have significant knowledge about the platforms as to what works on these

platforms

Apply Visual and Audio Effects: Integrate visual effects, transitions, and audio elements to

enhance the quality and impact of the videos.

Collaborate with Team: Work closely with producers, and other team members to understand

project goals, provide creative input, and ensure the final product meets expectations.

Manage Assets: Organize and manage video assets, including footage, audio, and graphics,

ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.

Ensure Quality Control: Review and refine videos to ensure they meet company standards

and are free of errors before final delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong

portfolio showcasing your work.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro,

Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. Knowledge of After Effects, or similar tools is a plus.

Academic background: Editing/Filmmaking/Media

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Experience with News Shows and Short form content.

Portfolio: A diverse portfolio demonstrating various editing styles and projects. Help with the attractive LinkedIn post, to attract young candidates
