Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The individual in this role programs CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components, creating and optimizing toolpaths, feeds, and speeds for milling and machining operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and engineering models, setting up and testing CNC programs and adjusting programs to improve cycle times and part quality. The CNC Programmer will also inspect finished parts for accuracy, maintain documentation of programs and setups, and work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvement and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong capability in Technical Drawing interpretation and understanding of engineering blueprints and GD&T.
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for manufacturing, including use of CAM software and G-code.
  • Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes, including tooling selection and machine setup.
  • Knowledge of aerospace or precision manufacturing standards, tolerances, and quality control practices.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to troubleshoot production and programming issues.
  • Experience with CNC machining for aerospace components or high-precision parts is an advantage.
