Head of Operations, Pay Later (Pakistan)

Yango Group is looking for a Head of Operations to own operations across Pakistan as part of Yango Fintech. In this role, you will drive new initiatives from design to scale, own the P&L, build the ops structure, and ensure smooth payment and collections processes.

Yango transforms global technologies into everyday services tailored to local communities, with an ecosystem spanning ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, fintech, and more.In Pakistan, Yango Fintech runs several fast-growing initiatives, with Pay Later at the core, and is scaling them country-wide.

You will be responsible for

You might be a fit if you have

• 8+ years in operations, including head-of or senior leadership roles in fintech, consumer lending, payments, or adjacent consumer financial services
• A Fintech background on the operations and product side
• Experience launching new initiatives (products, channels, or geographies) and running them at scale
• Experience with P&L ownership or full responsibility for major cost and revenue lines, including fluency in unit economics and the ability to discontinue unprofitable initiatives
• Experience building and leading multi-layer organizations (managers of managers); field/distributed operations experience is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of Pakistan’s payment ecosystem (banks, PSOs/PSPs, wallets, Raast/1LINK) to manage partners and resolve settlement issues
• A data-driven, KPI-heavy management style in a high-accountability environment
• Fluency in English and Urdu
• Residency in Pakistan or are ready to relocate immediately

It's a plus if you

• Know Pakistan’s retail space and how distribution channels work
• Have experience with agent or promoter networks (bank agent networks, device financing, telecom channels)
• Have a business degree from a top university (local or abroad)
