We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to work with our team on content for our brands Unstumbled and Unsobered .

The role will involve editing content across Instagram and YouTube , primarily focused on food, travel, alcohol, lifestyle and infotainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit long-form content for YouTube.
• Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling and visual appeal.
• Add transitions, text, graphics, sound effects and music as required.
• Adapt content to different social media formats and platforms.
• Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand the brief and deliver edits within timelines.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.
• Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in video editing, preferably for digital/social media content.
• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing and composition.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
• Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube formats.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant work.
