Consultant Ophthalmologist – Cataract & Refractive Surgery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Cataract Surgery • Perform high-volume Topical Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery with consistently excellent surgical outcomes. • Independently perform Premium IOL implantation. • Manage premium lens cases and provide appropriate patient counseling regarding lens selection and expected visual outcomes. Premium IOL Expertise Experience with: • Trifocal IOLs • Multifocal IOLs • EDOF (Extended Depth of Focus) IOLs • Toric IOLs Refractive Surgery Perform and/or independently manage advanced refractive procedures, including: • SMILE • Contoura Vision • LASIK • Femto LASIK • ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) • InnoEyes and other customized vision correction platforms PATIENT CARE • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluation and surgical planning. • Provide effective patient counseling and set appropriate expectations. • Manage post-operative follow-up and patient care. • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and patient experience. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • MS / MD / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution. • Strong independent experience in cataract surgery and refractive surgery. • Proven expertise in Topical Phacoemulsification. • Experience with Premium IOL implantation. • Strong understanding of advanced refractive surgery procedures. • Excellent patient counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated track record of excellent clinical and surgical outcomes.
