Job Description Lead preconstruction and estimating activities from concept through project award. Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders during project planning and budgeting. Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Participate in client meetings and presentations, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the pursuit process. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Support business development efforts and contribute to winning new work. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify opportunities and risks. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction. Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives and market opportunities. Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive project proposals. The Successful Applicant 5-10+ years of preconstruction, estimating, or related commercial construction experience. Proven ability to build client relationships and help secure new business opportunities. Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing discussions. Experience preparing conceptual and detailed construction estimates. Background working on commercial construction projects. Ability to review plans, specifications, and budgets with a strategic mindset. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Experience within healthcare, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, education, or similar commercial sectors is highly desirable.
