Staff Accountant – Miami-Fort LauderdaleThis is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to build their experience within a strong corporate environment.Responsibilities:Assist with month-end and year-end closePrepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsPerform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with financial statement preparation and reportingResearch and resolve accounting discrepanciesSupport internal and external audit requestsAssist with AP, AR, and other general accounting functions as neededPartner with accounting and finance team members on special projects and process improvementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1+ years of accounting experience requiredPublic accounting and/or corporate accounting experienceIdeally a combination of public accounting and private/corporate accounting experience xzbcwsv Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesStrong Excel skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
