Business Development Manager/Enterprise Partnership
GroMo · India
Job Description
Company Description
GroMo is a mission-driven fintech company expanding access to financial products across India, especially in underserved "Bharat" markets. Through a single app, anyone can become a GroMo Partner — advising on and selling financial products within their network to build an independent, sustainable income. With 1.4M+ partners and 3M+ customers, GroMo is driving financial inclusion and economic independence at scale.
GroMo Enterprise, our B2B2C arm, partners with lenders, NBFCs, fintechs, and consumer platforms that have large customer bases but lack a full lending stack of their own.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Build the partnership pipeline — Identify, pitch and close partnerships with fintechs, B2C consumer
platforms, NBFCs, lenders, banks, neobanks, wallets, brokerages and D2C apps that have distributable
customer bases for personal loans and credit cards.
• Own the full deal cycle — Move deals end to end — first conversation, commercial construct, revenue-share negotiation, legal and compliance sign-off, integration kick-off and go-live.
• Structure the offering — Work with the product, tech and lender teams to design the white-labelled journey for each partner.
• Grow the accounts you sign — Stay accountable for volume, disbursals, cards issued and revenue from every
partner you sign. Run periodic reviews, unblock drop-offs in the funnel and grow each account beyond its
launch scope.
• Drive the numbers — Track partner-wise conversion, approval rates, payouts and margins; work with
analytics to improve lender routing and journey performance.
• Keep it compliant — Ensure every partnership meets RBI digital lending guidelines, and internal risk, legal and data-privacy requirements.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR — MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in lending, credit cards or financial-services distribution — with the majority of it in lending.
• Demonstrable track record in partnerships, alliances or B2B business development — deals you personally sourced, negotiated and took live.
• An existing, warm network across the fintech and lending ecosystem — founders, business heads, alliance
leads and product heads you can call directly.
• Strong working knowledge of the Bangalore fintech market and the ability to operate in it on the ground.
• Solid understanding of the personal loan and credit card lifecycle — lead to eligibility, underwriting,
disbursal, payouts and commercial constructs (CPA, CPD, revenue share).
• Excellent written and verbal communication — this role represents GroMo in front of CXOs and founders.
GOOD TO HAVE:
• Prior experience at a lending marketplace, LOS/LSP, embedded-finance or BaaS company (for example: loan aggregators, fintech distribution platforms, NBFC digital lending teams).
• Experience working with API or SDK-led integrations.
• Exposure to credit card sourcing partnerships with banks.
• Understanding of digital lending guidelines and the DLG / LSP framework.
