About the companyWe're supporting a seed-stage robotics software startup. They build the system that coordinates robots, people and workflows across warehouse and factory operations. The product is already live with large enterprise customers, and the company is backed by top-tier investors.
The roleThis is the company's first dedicated talent hire. You'll own hiring from start to finish as the team grows quickly, with most hires in engineering. There's no playbook to inherit. You'll build the process as you go, with direct access to the founders.This isn't a back-office role. You'll have a real say in how the company hires. Most of your time will go on recruiting and headhunting. The rest will go on people operations and some support for the sales team.
What you'll doRecruitingRun full-cycle hiring for robotics, software, systems and field deployment engineersHeadhunt passive talent in robotics, ML and infrastructure rather than waiting for applicantsMap the companies, labs and teams where the best robotics engineers work, and use that to guide sourcingSource through LinkedIn, GitHub, research networks, universities and referralsKeep in touch with strong candidates who aren't ready to move yetWork with the founders to agree role scope and priorities before each search startsManage offers, negotiation and closing alongside the founders
OperationsOwn the hiring tools, including the ATS, sourcing tools, scheduling and reportingBuild repeatable processes: job description templates, outreach sequences, interview scorecards and pipeline reportsTrack and report on hiring metricsSupport onboarding and basic HR tasks for new starters
