Nurse Extern Progressive Unit

Mission Health is seeking a Nurse Extern for our Progressive Unit on a PRN basis. In this role, you will support RNs by providing direct, supervised patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene and mobility, and documenting in the EHR. You’ll work with advanced monitoring technology and collaborate with an expert clinical team dedicated to patient-centered care. This externship allows you to build confidence, refine clinical skills, and learn progressive care workflows while contributing to quality outcomes for patients across Western North Carolina.
