Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities, maintain relationships with corporate and travel partners, and actively promote the hotel portfolio to maximize occupancy and revenue. Daily tasks include meeting with potential clients, conducting sales calls and visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and following up on leads and inquiries. The role also involves coordinating with the operations and reservations teams to ensure a smooth guest experience, tracking sales performance, and preparing regular reports for management. The Sales Executive will participate in local marketing initiatives, networking events, and promotional activities to strengthen the brand’s presence in the region.
Qualifications
Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills in the hospitality or service industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for client-facing interactions. Proficiency in basic computer applications, CRM tools, and sales reporting. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences. Prior experience in hotel sales or related hospitality roles is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Guwahati and travel locally for client meetings and events as needed.
