To achieve this, Siemens expects the following competences to be available at the service provider: • Strong and consolidated experience in backend development using Python • Experience in building web APIs • Ability to work remotely with customers and establish high-level solutions and architectures. To deliver the above competences, Siemens considers relevant for the outsourcing company to assure consultants with a skillset and experience covering: • > 5 years’ experience in Python development • Experience working with API frameworks (FastAPI or Flask) • Knowledgeable on writing unit tests (Pytest) • Knowledge in relational databases (PostgreSQL) Siemens gives preference to consultants that also demonstrate competences in: • Experience working with Kubernetes. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).
