Job Description
We are looking for a Hyperledger Fabric Administrator with strong hands-on experience in deploying, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise blockchain networks based on Hyperledger Fabric .
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining production-grade Fabric environments, managing network components, certificates, channels, nodes, deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, deploy, and administer Hyperledger Fabric networks .
- Manage Fabric components including:
- Peers
- Orderer nodes
- Certificate Authorities (Fabric CA)
- Channels
- Organizations
- MSPs
- Chaincode lifecycle
- Perform creation and configuration of organizations, peers, orderers, channels, and consortiums.
- Manage certificates, identities, enrollment, renewal, revocation, and MSP configurations.
- Deploy, approve, commit, upgrade, and troubleshoot chaincode using the Fabric chaincode lifecycle .
- Configure and manage endorsement policies, channel policies, ACLs, and network permissions.
- Monitor Fabric nodes, containers, logs, resource utilization, and network performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Peer connectivity
- Ordering services
- Gossip protocol
- Certificate expiry
- Chaincode deployment
- Ledger synchronization
- CouchDB
- Channel configuration
- Transaction failures
- Manage Hyperledger Fabric deployments using Docker and Kubernetes .
- Support production deployments across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Configure and maintain CouchDB and Fabric ledger infrastructure.
- Perform Fabric network upgrades, node upgrades, and configuration updates.
- Implement backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high-availability procedures.
- Manage TLS certificates and secure communication between Fabric components.
- Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment and administration through CI/CD pipelines.
- Create scripts and automation for common Fabric administrative activities.
- Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation.
- Support development and QA teams during application integration, testing, and production releases.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure security best practices across blockchain infrastructure.
- 3–6 years of overall IT/infrastructure/DevOps experience , with strong hands-on experience administering Hyperledger Fabric .
- Good understanding of Hyperledger Fabric 2.x / 2.5 architecture .

- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Experience with CouchDB administration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of PKI, certificates, TLS, cryptography, and identity management.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, DNS, ports, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps .
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Strong debugging and production troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience with Hyperledger Bevel or similar blockchain deployment automation frameworks.
- Experience managing multi-organization production Fabric networks.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible .
- Understanding of blockchain concepts including consensus, distributed ledgers, smart contracts, and transaction flows.
- Exposure to Fabric SDKs in Node.js, Go, or Java .
- Knowledge of Kubernetes operators and GitOps-based deployments.
- Experience with enterprise security, HSM integration, Vault, or cloud key-management systems.
- Experience implementing blockchain backup, disaster recovery, and business-continuity strategies.
- Experience handling production Hyperledger Fabric upgrades and migrations.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable owning a Hyperledger Fabric environment independently—from infrastructure deployment and network configuration to monitoring and troubleshooting production incidents. The role requires someone with strong practical administration skills rather than only blockchain application-development experience.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or blockchain technologies are an advantage.
