About the Role
You'll contribute directly to Give.do's campaign video production, from concept development through final edit. Your work will live primarily on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google platforms, where you'll apply social-first principles to craft content that cuts through noise and resonates with donors.
Responsibilities
- Shoot video content for fundraising campaigns, with flexibility to travel to shoot with NGO beneficiaries and community partners
- Edit raw footage into polished, high-performing ad creatives optimized for Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video platforms
- Collaborate with the Creative team to develop social-first storytelling approaches that elevate donor engagement and donation intent
- Manage video asset versions for different platforms and campaign objectives (awareness, conversion, retention)
- Stay current on social video trends and platform best practices; apply insights to Give.do campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Media, Animation, VFX, or Visual Arts preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in videography — comfortable with camera operation, lighting, and framing for both documentary and branded storytelling
- Strong video editing skills — fluent in at least one editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent). Efficiency in turnaround is key.
- Social-media-first mindset — you understand what works on Instagram/Facebook/YouTube Shorts and why. You've created or studied content that performs well on these platforms.
- Ability to work independently and take direction; comfortable iterating on feedback without losing momentum
- Flexibility to travel for on-location shoots with NGO partners and communities (as required)
- Minimum commitment: 6 months
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating video content for nonprofits, social causes, or mission-driven brands
- Familiarity with platform analytics — understanding how video performance translates to campaign KPIs
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on campaign execution
