I’m working with an ambitious, specialist technology financial services business looking to hire talented Data Engineers to join its growing team in Champaign, Illinois.
This is an opportunity to work on challenging data initiatives within the financial services and alternative investments space, collaborating directly with business stakeholders and technology teams to build, improve and optimise data capabilities.
What you’ll be doing:Developing and automating data processes and workflows.Working with diverse datasets to improve data quality, governance and discoverability.Building and enhancing data platforms using in-house and third-party tools.Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver practical solutions.Tackling complex data challenges across multiple asset classes.
What we’re looking for:Strong, demonstrable experience with SQL and PythonExperience in data engineering, data analysis or a related specialist data role.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity and the ability to take ownership of your work.
Financial services experience is a bonus, but not essential. A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is desirable.
