Title: Software DeveloperPay: $55 per hourType: Hybrid Puyallup Washington 98372 United StatesDuration: 5-month contract
Position Overview:We are seeking a contract software developer to support and enhance our production RFP (Request for Proposal) management portal. The application serves internal reviewers, administrators, and external bidders throughout the proposal submission, review, data request, and document export processes.You will work with the existing codebase, collaborate with the core team, and periodically participate in stakeholder meetings and feature demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance features across proposal, reviewer, and administrative workflows.Maintain dynamic forms, validations, calculations, and repeatable sections.Support real-time updates, auto-save, file handling, and document exports.Write and maintain automated tests to support reliable releases.Participate in code reviews and follow established architecture and development standards.
Qualifications:Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.Experience building accessible, responsive interfaces with a modern component library.Experience with client-side routing, server-state management, and API integration.Proficiency in complex form development, validation, and schema-based design.Familiarity with modern front-end build and package management tools.Demonstrated use of clean architecture and separation of concerns.Ability to design reusable components and maintainable application logic.Experience working with coding standards, peer reviews, and automated quality checks.Experience writing behavior-focused unit, integration, and component tests.Commitment to meaningful test coverage and reliable software delivery.Experience with cloud-based authentication and user management.Familiarity with secure file storage and upload/download workflows.Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with calculation-intensive or data-driven business applications.Familiarity with real-time application features and connection management.Experience supporting offline-capable or installable web applications. xzbcwsv Knowledge of user experience enhancements such as animations, notifications, and guided assistance.
