Technical Project Manager – Databricks

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Databricks, Data Engineering, and Cloud technologies . The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end data and analytics projects, coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders, and ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering / Databricks projects .
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers.
• Strong hands-on understanding of Databricks, PySpark, Spark, SQL, and data pipelines .
• Experience working with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms and modern data architecture.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with Data Architects and Engineering teams on solution design and implementation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and drive mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project governance standards.
• Support technical discussions, design reviews, and production implementation.

Mandatory Skills:

• 14–19 years of overall IT experience
• Strong experience in Technical Project Management
• Strong experience with Databricks
• Good understanding of Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• Experience with Spark / PySpark / SQL
• Experience with at least one cloud platform – Azure / AWS / GCP
• Strong stakeholder and team management skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Databricks certification
• Experience managing large-scale data transformation/cloud migration projects
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Kafka or similar data technologies
• Experience working with enterprise/global clients
