Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Consultant with extensive expertise in Preference Management, Customs Management, and Compliance Management . The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of global trade processes and proven experience implementing and supporting SAP GTS solutions for multinational organizations across Europe, the UK, and North America.

The candidate should be capable of leading business discussions, gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring SAP GTS, and providing end-to-end support for trade compliance and customs processes.

Key Responsibilities

Preference Management

• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP GTS Preference Management solutions.
• Manage supplier declarations, vendor solicitations, and preference determination processes.
• Implement and support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) scenarios for the European Union (EU) and United States (US) regions.
• Configure preference determination and origin calculation processes.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to preferential trade agreements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize preference management processes and maximize duty savings.

Customs Management

• Implement and support SAP GTS Customs Management solutions.
• Possess hands-on experience with Customs Self-Filing processes for:
• United Kingdom (UK)
• Germany
• Other European Union countries
• Design and configure import and export declaration processes.
• Support customs procedures, transit processes, bonded warehouses, and customs reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific customs regulations and filing requirements.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, logistics providers, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Compliance Management

• Configure and support SAP GTS Compliance Management modules including:
• Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening
• Legal Control
• Embargo Checks
• License Management
• Export Control Management
• Risk-Based Compliance Processes
• Define screening strategies, blocked process handling, and escalation workflows.
• Support regulatory compliance requirements and global trade controls.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations, including denied party screening and export control regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of EU Customs Regulations and Free Trade Agreements.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, chemicals, life sciences, or retail industries.
• SAP GTS certification is preferred.
• Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementations.
