Role Description The Associate Manager – Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur, responsible for supporting and overseeing core financial operations for Automation Solutions Division of TEAL. This position manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to guide business decisions. The role includes supervising accounting activities such as general ledger review, cost accounting, Project Proftability, POCM Accounting, Book Closure, and compliance with internal controls and applicable standards. The Associate Manager – Finance will prepare periodic management reports, track key financial metrics, support audits, and assist in optimizing cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting financial systems and process improvements, and providing insights to leadership on profitability and project performance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience in accounting operations, such as general ledger, cost accounting, reconciliations, and financial closing.
- Knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and audit processes within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Proficiency with SAP and data analysis tools for reporting and decision support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced setting.
- Preferred: CA or CMA with 3+ years of Post qualification experience. Exposure to Project Accounting and Percetage completion method based revenue recognition is an added advantage.
