The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Qualifications: Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification, if required by department Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 2 years of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in pre-op is preferred.
