Mid-level cgi / vfx producer

Untitled Production is looking for an experienced Mid-Level CGI / VFX Producer to join our team remotely Mumbai.

We are looking for someone who understands the end-to-end CGI and VFX production pipeline and can independently manage projects from the initial client brief through budgeting, artist allocation, production, feedback rounds and final delivery.

This is not a CGI artist position. We are looking for a Producer / Project Manager who understands CGI, VFX, 3 D production and post-production workflows and can confidently manage clients, artists, timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage CGI / VFX projects from brief to final delivery Understand client briefs and convert them into clear production plans Prepare budgets, estimates, timelines and resource plans Coordinate with: CGI / 3 D Artists Modellers Texture & Look Development Artists Lighting Artists Animators Compositors Retouchers VFX Artists External studios / freelancers Allocate and manage resources based on project timelines and deliverables Conduct internal and client project kick-offs Track daily project progress and ensure deadlines are maintained Manage multiple CGI/VFX projects simultaneously Handle client communication, feedback and revision rounds Identify additional scope and communicate cost/time implications Maintain project budgets and monitor profitability Identify production risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery Ensure final outputs meet required creative and technical quality standards Coordinate final QC, mastering and delivery

Who We're Looking For

4–7 years of experience in CGI / VFX production, post-production or project management Previous experience at a CGI studio, VFX studio, post-production company, advertising agency or production house Strong understanding of the CGI production pipeline:

Brief → Asset Collection → Modelling → Texturing → Shading → Lighting → Animation → Rendering → Compositing → Client Feedback → Final Delivery

Strong project management and organisational skills Experience preparing project estimates and production schedules Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and client-management skills Strong understanding of production budgets and commercial implications Good eye for detail and final quality control Ability to work with both internal teams and external artists/vendors

Software / Workflow Knowledge

Working knowledge of production-management platforms such as Shot Grid, Ftrack, ,

Maya, Jira or similar tools is preferred.

Familiarity with CGI/VFX software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4 D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Nuke and After Effects will be an advantage.

You are not required to operate these tools as an artist, but you should understand how CGI and VFX teams use them during production.
