About the Role
The Senior Accountant, Transactions Accounting is part of a team responsible for supporting the accounting for the acquisition, disposition and financing lifecycles. This position is critical to ensuring accurate, timely, and audit-ready transaction close packages and documentation that enables seamless onboarding/offboarding of properties/entities and informs ongoing accounting needs.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Transactions, other Accounting teams, Treasury/Financing, appraisers, legal/closing parties, and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve exceptions, validate support, and drive clean, well-documented outcomes. Proactively identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate acquisition and disposition workflows using available tools.Qualifications
Total Years of Experience: Relevant Experience in:Required Skills
Acquisitions Dispositions Reconciliation Real Estate R2 RPreferred Skills
Experience with technology-forward accounting practices.Pay range and compensation package
