Design Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Furnishing Coordinator to lead, oversee, and coordinate interior furnishing, styling, lighting, and décor projects. This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage timelines, teams, budgets, vendors, and client expectations while ensuring the design vision is executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Track and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure timely issuance of drawings, lists, and other documentation.
• Regularly update project sheets.
• Allocate work, track task completion and ensure accountability.
• Assist the design team with any tasks as required to ensure smooth project execution.

Client Fulfillment & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all design-related commitments to clients are fulfilled as promised.
• Address and resolve post-installation issues efficiently.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality standards.

Vendor & Procurement Management:

• Lead furniture vendor selection, negotiations, and coordination.
• Create purchase lists, indents, presentations, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.

Documentation & Budget Management:

• Ensure accurate records of furnished homes, COFs, and payments are maintained.
• Create and manage project budgets.
• Ensure all files are consistently uploaded to and maintained on the server.
• Maintain the artwork sheet and design related libraries (furniture, tiles, finishes, vendors) etc.

Research & Development:

• Conduct R&D and source new materials, vendors, and design solutions.
• Stay updated on trends, innovations, and market offerings.

Site Visits:

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and execution.
• Coordinate between on-site teams and internal departments.

Communication & Problem-Solving:

• Act as the key point of contact for all project-related queries.
• Ensure all queries are resolved within defined timelines.
• Identify design or process issues and implement effective solutions.
