Civil Engineer - Land Development

Bluebird Staffing is hiring two Civil Engineers in Chantilly, VA. One is a Land Development Engineer and the other is focused on stormwater. Technical Design Opportuni ties Prepare construction documents for new and redevelopment projects, including maps, computations, narratives, construction details, and specifications Design all types of SWM facilities, including design on multi-phased development projects Conduct construction observations for all types of SWM facilities and other related construction administration Develop and execute stormwater operation and maintenance programs for entities owning large SWM assets General Job Responsibilities Production of final construction documents Develop stormwater management concept plans Conduct construction and maintenance inspections Review construction administration Develop local and state permit applications Prepare technical reports Research regulatory codes, manuals, and standards Manage multiple projects and deadlines Meet and coordinate with regulators to address comments and facilitate approval Communicate effectively with team members Manage clients and develop project schedules / workplans Perform other duties as required Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or similar degree Advanced Autocad skills Strong mathematical/analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Engineer-in-training certification Professional Engineer license Proficiency with H
