Our manufacturing client in the Jefferson County, WI area is looking for a Buyer to join their team. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, analytical, and strong communication skills. Work Setting : Onsite

Compensation : $24 - $28/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage purchasing activities, including supplier quotes, purchase orders, and order follow-up.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, pricing, and material issues.
• Maintain accurate supplier, inventory, pricing, and lead-time data within the ERP system.
• Develop and adjust production schedules based on demand, inventory, labor, and capacity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address shortages, scheduling conflicts, and production priorities.
• Support cost savings, supplier sourcing, reporting, compliance, and process improvements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
