Experienced in door-to-door canvassing or sales? Looking for a permanent role with a guaranteed salary, regular hours and long weekends built into your rota?
Sharp Talent is recruiting on behalf of Control Flow Technologies for an experienced, outgoing Field Customer Engagement Officer to join its Cambridge team.
This isn't a traditional hard-sell sales role. You'll work on behalf of a major utilities company, visiting residents to explain water-saving services, carry out simple assessments and arrange appointments for improvements.
You'll combine door-to-door canvassing with pre-booked appointments, so confidence approaching people and working independently is essential.
The Role
Visit residential properties across Cambridge and surrounding areas
Speak with residents about water-efficiency services
Complete straightforward property assessments, with full training provided
Arrange appointments for suitable improvements
Record information accurately using a tablet
Work towards daily activity and appointment targets
What's on Offer?
£30,000 guaranteed annual salary
Occasional campaign bonuses ( depending on company performance )
Permanent contract directly with Control Flow Technologies
Two long weekends off in every four-week rota
33 days' holiday including bank holidays
Mileage allowance of 55p per mile for daily travel to/from site exceeding 20 miles
Full training and ongoing support

Working Hours
Working hours are generally 9am –5pm, with occasional weekend working required (one Saturday and one Sunday per month).
The four-week rota includes two long weekends off, either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. xrexnqw
What We're Looking For
Previous door-to-door sales or canvassing experience – essential
Confidence approaching residents and starting conversations
Friendly, professional communication skills
Self-motivated, reliable and comfortable working towards targets
Ability to work independently and outdoors
Full UK driving licence and own car – essential
Willingness to complete a basic DBS check
