Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate

We are working with a leading national law firm seeking a Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its New York City office. The ideal candidate will have experience providing tax advice in connection with a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions and enjoy working collaboratively with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
Responsibilities include:Advising on federal income tax considerations in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and reorganizationsProviding tax guidance on financing transactions and commercial lending arrangementsAdvising on tax matters involving real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investmentsReviewing and negotiating tax-related provisions in transaction documentsConducting tax research and analyzing complex transactional tax issuesWorking closely with corporate, finance, and real estate attorneys to structure transactions and address tax considerations
Qualifications:2–5 years of transactional tax experience at a law firmExperience advising on sophisticated commercial transactions, including xzbcwsv M&A, finance, and real estate mattersStrong knowledge of federal income tax law and transactional tax principlesExcellent research, drafting, and analytical skillsStrong academic credentials and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
