We're looking for passionate psychologists who love travelling, meeting people, and taking therapy beyond the traditional clinic setting.

Role Overview:

As a Nature Therapist, you will facilitate therapeutic experiences in outdoor environments, helping individuals and groups improve their mental well-being through evidence-based psychological practices integrated with nature.

You'll work alongside our Nature Guides to conduct mindful walks, nature immersions, camping experiences, hikes, and wellness retreats around Bengaluru and nearby destinations.

This is a flexible, freelance role paid on an hourly basis, making it ideal for professionals looking to supplement their practice while exploring an innovative approach to therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapeutic sessions in outdoor settings.
• Design and structure nature therapy programmes, including session plans, therapeutic activities, group exercises, reflection practices, and participant workflows.
• Plan and facilitate nature walks, hikes, camping experiences, retreats, and wellness activities.
• Collaborate with Nature Guides to develop safe, engaging, and therapeutically meaningful outdoor experiences.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to suit different locations, participant needs, group dynamics, and environmental conditions.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and emotionally safe environment for all participants.
• Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and participant well-being throughout all activities.
• Contribute to the development of new nature-based mental wellness programmes and experiences.
• Document session outcomes and provide feedback to continuously improve programme design and participant experience.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Applied Psychology, or related field).
• Experience conducting individual and/or group counselling sessions.
• Based in Bengaluru and available to travel for day trips and occasional weekend retreats.
• Comfortable leading small and medium-sized groups in outdoor environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mental health, nature, and experiential learning.
• Enjoys travelling, hiking, walking, and meeting new people.
• An energetic, empathetic, and outgoing personality that helps participants feel comfortable.
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and resourceful in outdoor settings.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with mindfulness, eco-therapy, adventure therapy, or nature-based interventions.
• Experience facilitating workshops or group activities.
• Basic outdoor safety or first-aid certification is a plus.
• Comfortable travelling in Bengaluru and around for retreats and wellness programmes.

Compensation:

• Hourly payment based on sessions and events conducted.
