Recruiting Sourcer – Contract | New York CityLocation: New York City (Midtown)Schedule: Onsite Monday–FridayType: ContractStart: ASAPCompensation: $55-$80/hr. (dependent on experience)

We’re partnering with a leading global financial services firm to add several Recruiting Sourcers to its growing recruiting team in New York.This is a highly research-driven sourcing role for someone who genuinely enjoys digging into technical talent markets, developing creative sourcing strategies, and using data to understand what is—or isn’t—working. You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build high-quality pipelines for priority searches across the U.S. and international markets.
What You’ll DoOwn sourcing and pipeline-building efforts across a variety of engineering and technical rolesPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, calibrate profiles, and develop targeted sourcing strategiesIdentify and engage high-caliber technical talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, ATS databases, and other sourcing channelsBuild thoughtful, personalized outreach strategies designed to drive candidate engagementResearch technical talent markets, competitor organizations, and new talent poolsTrack pipeline health, outreach performance, response rates, and conversion metricsUse recruiting data and market intelligence to identify when sourcing strategies, messaging, compensation, or candidate profiles may need to be adjustedConduct initial candidate qualification before handing candidates off to recruiting partnersSupport hiring primarily across New York and London, with potential exposure to searches in Hong Kong and Singapore
What We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in a sourcing, recruiting research, talent intelligence, or similarly research-driven recruiting rolePrior experience sourcing engineering or technical talentStrong understanding xzbcwsv of different types of software engineering and technical rolesAbility to quickly learn complex job requirements and translate them into an effective sourcing strategyNaturally curious and highly research-oriented—you enjoy finding talent that isn’t immediately obviousAnalytical mindset with the ability to use data to evaluate and improve sourcing effectivenessStrong written communication skills and experience developing personalized candidate outreachComfortable managing multiple searches and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong partnership skills and ability to work closely with recruiters and hiring managersBachelor’s degree required
