Senior IT Auditor
Washington, DC
Pay From: $90,000 per year

MUST:
Experienced Senior IT Auditor
Active Secret Clearance required
7+ years of experience supporting federal audits, program evaluations, financial management, consulting, internal audit, Inspector General, GAO, or public sector advisory services
Experience performing data analysis using Excel and one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Alteryx
Spot weaknesses in hardware, software, or network security configurations.
Design test plans and assess IT General Controls (ITGC), cloud security, and applications
Experience preparing audit working papers, documenting evidence, and supporting audit reports.
Familiarity with internal controls, risk management, process improvement, and compliance reviews.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
Ability to analyze unfamiliar subject matter quickly and develop evidence-based conclusions.
Experience supporting federal agencies is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field

DUTIES:
Support performance audits, operational reviews, program evaluations, and internal control assessments.
Assist with audit planning, risk assessments, research, and development of audit methodologies.
Collect, validate, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
Prepare audit working papers, supporting documentation, and evidence in accordance with professional auditing standards.
Perform data analytics and data mining to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and performance gaps.
Evaluate business processes, internal controls, policies, and operational effectiveness.
Develop findings, conclusions, and recommendations supported by sufficient and appropriate evidence.
Prepare executive briefings, reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for government leadership.
Conduct interviews, gather information from stakeholders, and document observations.
Collaborate with auditors, data analysts, IT specialists, program managers, and client leadership.
Support ad hoc analytical projects and executive taskers.
