Associate Sales Engineer

Role Overview. Associate Sales Engineers will support the sales and technical teams in understanding customer requirements, preparing proposals, conducting demonstrations, and coordinating proof-of-concept deployments. This role is suitable for candidates with a strong interest in cloud infrastructure and customer-facing technology roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discovery and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Assist with solution sizing, pricing, and proposal preparation.
• Prepare presentations, quotations, cost comparisons, and technical documents.
• Support demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and customer teams.
• Maintain customer requirements and opportunity documentation.
• Learn and present OnPublic, OnPrivate, and OnBYOPC solutions.
• Support customer onboarding and technical handover activities.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of cloud computing, virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Linux, or open-source technologies.
• Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and explain them clearly.
• Customer-focused attitude and willingness to take ownership.

Good to Have

• Academic projects, internships, or certifications related to cloud, Linux, networking, Kubernetes, or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with preparing presentations, bills of materials, quotations, or technical proposals.
• Relevant entry-level cloud or networking certifications.
