Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 7+ years of hands-on experience in traditional AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and statistical modeling . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing and deploying analytical models using Python and SQL , with experience working on large-scale datasets in Databricks .

The candidate will be responsible for solving complex business problems through data-driven approaches, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning and statistical models for business problems.
• Build solutions using forecasting, optimization, clustering, regression, and recommendation models .
• Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Work with large and complex datasets using Databricks, SQL, and Python .
• Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
• Identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve model accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, software engineers, and other data scientists.
• Develop reusable data science workflows and analytical frameworks.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL .
• Hands-on experience with:
• Forecasting / Time-Series Modeling
• Optimization Techniques
• Clustering

• Recommendation Systems
• Statistical Analysis
• Predictive Modeling
• Strong experience working with large-scale datasets .
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and distributed data processing.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical concepts, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model validation, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently own data science problems from problem definition through model development and insights delivery .

Good to Have

• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark .
• Experience with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch .
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP .
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
• Knowledge of MLOps and model monitoring .
• Experience in working with business-critical analytics and optimization problems.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline .
