Hiring: Investment Equity Fund Manager
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 8+ Years
Industry: Asset Management / Mutual Funds
Eligibility: Candidates currently working with AMC / Mutual Fund companies only
About the Role:
A growing Asset Management business is expanding its investment platform and is looking to hire an experienced Investment Equity Fund Manager to be part of its equity investment team.
The role will involve fund management, portfolio construction, stock selection and fundamental investment research , with an opportunity to contribute to the development of the investment platform as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in equity investment decisions and portfolio construction.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through detailed fundamental research.
- Conduct company, sector and industry analysis, including financial modelling and valuation.
- Develop and track investment theses and monitor portfolio companies.
- Review portfolio performance, positioning, risk and sector allocation.
- Track market trends, corporate developments, earnings and other factors impacting portfolio holdings.
- Work closely with the senior investment team on portfolio strategy and fund management.
- Contribute to building and strengthening the investment process of the growing AMC.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in equity fund management / investment management .
- Strong experience in equity investing, fundamental research and portfolio management .
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation and investment frameworks.
- Experience in evaluating listed companies and identifying investment opportunities.
- Strong analytical and investment decision-making capabilities.
- Candidates with hands-on exposure to portfolio construction and fund management will be preferred.
