Key Responsibilities Lighting Design Prepare lighting layouts using Auto CAD. Develop lighting concepts based on architectural drawings and interior themes. Design ambient, task, accent, decorative, and façade lighting. Select suitable fixtures based on aesthetics, application, beam angles, colour temperature, CRI, and performance. Ensure lighting designs comply with recommended illumination standards (Lux Levels). Dialux / Lighting Calculations Perform lighting simulations using Dialux Evo. Prepare lux calculations and lighting reports. Optimize fixture selection for energy efficiency and visual comfort. Client Coordination Understand client requirements and project objectives. Present lighting concepts confidently to architects, interior designers, and clients. Incorporate client feedback into final designs. Attend client meetings whenever required. Technical Documentation Prepare: Lighting Layouts Fixture Schedules Switching Plans Lighting Specifications Material Quantities Coordinate with the sales team for BOQs and quotations. Product Knowledge Stay updated with the latest lighting technologies. Understand LED specifications, drivers, optics, dimming systems, and smart lighting controls. Recommend products suitable for residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects. Coordination Work closely with: Sales Team Project Team Procurement Architects Interior Designers Site Engineers Site Support Conduct site visits when required. Assist during installation. Resolve technical issues related to fixture placement and lighting effects. Ensure installations match approved drawings.
