Role Description

• This is a full-time remote role for a Website Developer at GLAZA.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, maintaining, and continuously improving GLAZA's websites and digital platforms .
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across website development, content updates, performance optimization, troubleshooting, security, integrations, and new feature development.  
• We're hiring across all levels from freshers looking to start their web development career to experienced developers capable of independently managing website development and technical operations .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage GLAZA's websites and web applications
• Create and implement new website features, pages, and functionalities
• Update website content, images, layouts, and other digital assets
• Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, errors, and technical issues
• Improve website speed, performance, security, and reliability
• Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services when required
• Manage website databases and backend systems
• Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and backups
• Implement basic technical SEO and website optimization practices
• Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support digital marketing and advertising-related website requirements
• Collaborate with marketing, content, editorial, design, advertising, and business teams
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Support landing pages, campaign pages, forms, tracking, and other digital marketing assets
• Senior candidates will additionally be expected to take ownership of website architecture, deployments, hosting, technical strategy, security, performance, and mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more web development languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, or similar
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar
• Familiarity with backend development using Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar technologies
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with API development and integration
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems
• Understanding of website hosting, domains, SSL, DNS, and basic server management is a plus
• Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and responsive design
• Basic understanding of technical SEO
• Familiarity with website analytics, tracking, or digital marketing tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote work environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills

‍ For Senior Candidates

4+ years of experience in web development, website management, hosting, deployments, or technical operations is a strong plus.

Experience working with digital media, marketing websites, advertising platforms, publishing websites, or high-traffic websites will be an advantage.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong practical skills.
