Manual Machinist (Temp-to-Hire) Location: New Iberia, LA 70560 Pay: $28-$32 DOE Shift: 7am-4pm M-F, O-T as needed (40-70 hrs/ week) Candidate should have experience with: VTL Manual Lathe Drill Press Bridgeport Knee Mill Horizontal Boring Mill (48x30" BT 50 Holder) Experience with compressor component repairs and overhauls a plus Must be able to create own set up Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Ability to work in metric a plus Have own tools a plus but not required Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards to promote a safe working environment. Background check and drug screen required
