Patient Care Assistant - Med/Surg

Job Description
As a Patient Care Assistant you will work under the direction of a Registered
Nurse to assist in delivery of patient care including personal hygiene and daily
activities transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining
patient rooms, and reordering/stocking of supplies. Responsible for coordination
of communications and procedures for the nursing unit, process electronic orders
and assembling patient’s charts and other necessities. Work Schedule: 32 hrs. weekly/0.8FTE; 3p-1130p with every other weekend Required Qualifications: * Must have one of the following:
High school diploma or equivalent
HS Diploma in progress and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
* Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma or equivalent may be
considered
* Valid BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross Preferred Qualifications: CNA experience
HUC or unit clerk experience
Microsoft office experience
Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting
