Role Description The Instrumental Music Teacher will deliver structured classroom and individual lessons, focusing on developing students’ skills in instrumental performance and basic music theory. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lesson plans, preparing students for school events and performances, organizing practice schedules, and assessing student progress through regular evaluations. The teacher will collaborate with the school’s performing arts team to design musical programs and support assemblies, competitions, and cultural activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida requiring active participation in school life, parent interactions, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications

Candidates should specialize in at least one Indian instrument- percussion or string.

Candidates should possess training or experience in Music Education, including classroom teaching methods.

Formal education in Music degree from a recognized institution is preferred.

Experience teaching instrumental music to school-age learners, with the ability to differentiate instruction for varied skill levels.

Ability to design engaging lesson plans, manage classroom behavior positively, and motivate students.

Strong communication skills, collaborative attitude, and commitment to safeguarding and child-centered practices.
