To support growing underwriting operations, the full-time California Licensed Property Underwriter will evaluate new business and renewal submissions, assess property risks, and maintain strong relationships with appointed agents in a remote-first work environment. Key Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and underwrite new business and renewal submissions for residential property lines Serve as a primary underwriting resource for agents, providing timely communication and support Contribute to underwriting guidelines and process improvements based on market conditions and emerging risks Required Qualifications 3-5 years of property underwriting or related personal lines insurance experience Strong understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment Demonstrated ability to evaluate risks and apply underwriting guidelines effectively Experience using underwriting platforms and exposure assessment tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
