Role Description The Student Counselor (Study Abroad) will provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students on international education options, including courses, universities, and destination countries. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, recommending suitable academic pathways, and supporting the admission process from application to offer acceptance. The role also involves coordinating with partner institutions, assisting with visa documentation, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress. The counselor will respond to inquiries, deliver timely follow-ups, and offer clear information on scholarships, accommodation, and other student support services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum, requiring close collaboration with colleagues to ensure a high-quality, student-focused experience.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling skills, with the ability to guide learners on study abroad options and academic pathways.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students align international education choices with long-term career goals.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused support to students and families.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Education systems and admission processes across major study destinations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in overseas education consulting, academic advising, or student support services is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, CRM or student management systems, and comfort working with digital communication platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum, manage multiple student cases, and meet timelines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
