About the Role

We are looking for a Zscaler Engineer - L2/L3 with strong hands-on production experience across ZIA, ZPA and Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) .

You will be responsible for troubleshooting Zscaler and enterprise networking issues, handling escalations, resolving connectivity and application-access problems, performing RCA, and implementing permanent fixes.

Key Responsibilities

ZIA | Zscaler Internet Access

• Troubleshoot ZIA architecture, traffic flow and forwarding methods including GRE, IPSec, PAC and ZCC
• Configure and troubleshoot URL Filtering, Firewall, SSL Inspection and Cloud App policies
• Troubleshoot DNS, SSL/TLS, proxy and internet connectivity issues
• Analyze ZIA logs and analytics for troubleshooting, performance issues and RCA
• Work with ZIA policies, tenant profiles and subclouds

ZPA | Zscaler Private Access

• Troubleshoot ZPA architecture and end-to-end user-to-application flow
• Work with App Connectors, Service Edge and Private Applications
• Troubleshoot application access, segmentation and ZPA policy issues
• Troubleshoot App Connector, DNS and application connectivity problems
• Perform RCA for complex ZPA incidents

ZCC | Zscaler Client Connector

• Handle ZCC deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot ZIA/ZPA traffic forwarding through ZCC
• Resolve authentication, SSO and enrollment issues
• Analyze ZCC logs and diagnostics across Windows and macOS
• Troubleshoot endpoint conflicts involving VPN, Proxy, Firewall and EDR

Networking & Troubleshooting Skills

• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Proxy and SSL/TLS fundamentals
• Hands-on knowledge of GRE and IPSec
• Wireshark and packet capture analysis
• Experience handling L1/L2/L3 escalations and P1/P2 incidents
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and RCA skills
• Ability to implement permanent remediation/fixes

Mandatory Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• Real production experience with ZIA + ZPA + ZCC
• Hands-on Zscaler troubleshooting and policy configuration
• Experience with ZPA App Connectors and application access
• Experience with ZCC deployment, authentication/enrollment and diagnostics
• Strong networking and packet-level troubleshooting
• Experience with DNS, SSL/TLS, proxy, routing and connectivity troubleshooting
• P1/P2 incident handling and RCA experience
• Good communication and incident management skills

Important: Candidates with only theoretical knowledge, certification/training exposure, or experience with only one or two Zscaler products will not be considered . Production experience across all three: ZIA + ZPA + ZCC is mandatory.
