Job DescriptionInfosys Portland is expanding its Digital Procurement Practice and is seeking a select number of senior leaders to help clients modernize, optimize, and future‑proof their procurement organizations.

Our role is to help clients define the right path, select the right technologies, and maximize value from implementations—regardless of who the implementation partner is.This is a client-facing leadership role for individuals who bring deep subject matter expertise, strong consulting instincts, and the ability to guide complex digital transformation programs.

Job Responsibilities: Advise clients on procurement technology implementations, with hands-on experience across leading S2P platformsIdentify implementation risks, design pitfalls, and change challenges—bringing real-world lessons learned from prior programsSupport clients in optimizing and stabilizing existing procurement systemsPartner effectively with technical and data teams without needing to be a technologist or data arcUnderstand how procurement data is captured, governed, and leveraged for insightsTranslate business needs into practical technology and data solutions, while recognizing system limitationsAssess current-state procurement processes and operating modelsDesign future-state processes that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectivesBalance standardization with flexibility to support diverse stakeholder needsAddress non-technology enablers critical to success, including policy, governance, organization design, and people capabilitiesSupport change management efforts to drive adoption and sustainable outcomesAct as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholdersLead workstreams or full engagements, managing scope, quality, and client expectationsCoach and develop junior team members and client resourcesContribute to practice growth through thought leadership and knowledge sharingExpand existing client relationships and identify follow-on opportunitiesParticipate in business development pursuits, proposal development, and client presentationsBuild a strong market presence through insight-driven conversations
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 6 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred Qualifications: 6–10 years of consulting experience in procurement and/or supply chain, including S2P system implementationsDemonstrated track record of successfully leading client engagements end-to-endPrior experience expanding existing client relationships or supporting business development effortsStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities applied in client-facing environmentsProven ability to develop, coach, and mentor team membersEffective facilitator with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to executive audiencesStrong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel in a consulting context
