Senior FPGA Aerospace Engineer Opportunities – Shape the Future of Autonomous Aviation

Strativ Group · Mountain view, United States

Confidential Aerospace Program | Full Time | On Site (Mountain View, CA)

We are partnering with a category-defining aerospace and autonomy team tackling one of the most ambitious engineering challenges in modern aviation. This project is developing fully certified autonomous flight systems for commercial aircraft, pushing the limits of safety, reliability, and scale.

This is not incremental work. This is a chance to help build something the industry has been talking about for decades – and to do it with a team that has the backing, talent, and urgency to make it real.

We are expanding our Embedded Systems team and are hiring across FPGA engineering, including but not limited to:

✈️ Why Engineers Join This Program

• Unprecedented technical scope – airborne computing, signal processing, networking, and control systems all being developed together, from chip to aircraft level
• Real ownership – engineers own problems, designs, and outcomes end to end
• Hardware-first culture – design, build, test, iterate, repeat
• Speed with rigor – move fast, but with safety-critical discipline
• Visible impact – your work directly influences autonomous flight systems, not reports or slides

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role:

• Designing and verifying FPGA digital logic for mission‑critical systems
• Driving development from concept through integration and certification‑ready processes
• Solving complex, safety‑critical problems across the autonomy stack
• Collaborating with world‑class engineers, technicians, and system architects
• Supporting processes that will enable fully certified autonomous flight

Mountain View, CA – core engineering and embedded systems

• Engineers who want to solve problems that have never been solved before
• People who enjoy accountability, pace, and technical depth
• Those motivated by impact, not hierarchy
• Candidates from aerospace, avionics, robotics, automotive, defence, or similarly complex hardware environments

Company details will be shared with qualified candidates during initial conversations. This search is conducted discreetly due to the strategic nature of the programme.

If you are even slightly curious, it is worth a conversation.
