Dental Hygienist - Advance Practice

SUMMARY : Works under the supervision of our licensed dentist. Is responsible for providing patients with quality dental services while reinforcing dental hygiene. SUPERVISOR: Director or Designee DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be capable of performing digital radiography and electronic dental records. Reviews patient's oral health history. Provide proper quality hygiene for every patient. Reinforces oral hygiene instruction including the teaching of appropriate brushing and flossing techniques. Performs deep cleanings (scale and root plane). Screens patients for periodontal disease. Maintain instruments in good working condition with proper sterilization. Maintain OSHA standards. Assist Dentist during exams. Provide thorough charting on every patient. Keep working areas clean and organ
