Radiologist

A reputed medical institution is seeking an experienced and academically strong Associate Professor – Radiology to join its faculty team. The role involves clinical radiology, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, resident supervision, research, and participation in departmental academic activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching sessions. Provide diagnostic radiology services and accurate reporting. Guide and mentor postgraduate residents. Participate in seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and academic meetings. Support research projects and contribute to publications. Participate in departmental quality-improvement initiatives. Maintain appropriate clinical records and documentation. Support the development of radiology services and academic programs.

Qualification

MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis / Radiology from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or applicable State Medical Council. Required teaching and clinical experience as per applicable NMC/institutional norms. Research publications in recognized medical journals preferred. Experience in postgraduate teaching and mentoring preferred. Candidates with strong experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Doppler will be preferred.
